Privacy Notice

What we collect

When you fill out our application form, we collect:

• Your name, email, and phone number
• Whether it's OK to text you
• Confirmation that you're 18 or older
• Your availability (start date, days/times, hours per week)
• Languages you speak
• Whether you've worked in food service or retail before, and your most recent job (if you choose to share it)
• Your answer to “Why Sofi's?” (if you choose to share it)
• How you heard about us
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the optional notes field

We don't collect

We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, or home address on the application. If we decide to move forward with hiring, we'll request that information separately at that point.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Review your application and decide whether to contact you
• Reach out to you about the role (by email, or text if you said it's OK)
• Keep a record of who has applied

What we don't do

We don't sell your information, share it with marketers, or use it for anything outside of hiring.

Who sees it

Your application is visible only to the owners and hiring team at Sofi's Mini Donuts. We use Google Workspace's SMTP relay to deliver email and our own server to store applications. We use Google Analytics to measure traffic to this site (described under “Cookies and tracking” below). These services see your data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for 12 months from the date you submit. After that, we delete them. If we hire you, your application becomes part of your employee record and is kept separately under our employment recordkeeping practices.

How to ask us to delete your information

Email jobs@sofisminidonuts.com with the subject line “Delete my application” and the email address you used to apply. We'll confirm deletion within 7 days.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which sources — QR codes, social posts, job boards, partner links — bring people to this site. The service uses cookies to count visits and recognize returning browsers. It collects general information like which pages you viewed, how you arrived, and what kind of device you used. It does not collect your name, email, phone number, or any answer you typed into the form, and we don't link analytics activity to your application.

If you arrived through a campaign link (one with utm_source, utm_medium, etc.), those campaign tags are saved in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days so we can credit the right source if you return later. The tags are short labels like “tabletent / polaris,” not information about you.

Your browser also temporarily saves your in-progress application so you don't lose your work if you navigate away. That's cleared when you submit, or you can clear it by closing the browser tab.

You can block analytics by using a browser that blocks third-party cookies, using a tracker-blocking extension, or enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings. We don't run a cookie banner because we don't share information with advertisers or other third parties beyond the analytics service described above.

Changes to this notice

If we update this notice, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
